Western and Nine Others

Because dialects are so often asked for in film roles as well as in plays, I have created a series of sessions in which you can learn one or more dialects. This is an open-ended course wherein you can use one session or as many as you’d like, depending on your needs – work on one dialect or two or three at the same time. (The three most often requested dialects are High British, Long Island, and Texas.) We’ll work from screenplays and plays that incorporate the dialects, and we’ll tape both you and I performing the dialects.

This course is typically taught in private sessions (1½-hour sessions, $75/session; 1-hour sessions, $50/session), but if an evening course is offered, it is typically 6 weeks, $45/week as you come.

Remember, if you would have to miss one or even two of the nights of the group course, we could always do a make-up outside of class at your convenience.
